About the Role

We’re recruiting an experienced Mechanic to join the team at McKinney Motors in Dungannon. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and assembling a range of vehicles and machinery, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to specifications
• Inspect vehicles, engines, and transmissions, carrying out diagnostic tests to identify and resolve faults
• Conduct repairs efficiently, ensuring maximum reliability and safety
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
• Clean, lubricate, and replenish fluids in engines and mechanical components
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems when required
• Provide advice and guidance on correct maintenance and preventative measures
• Maintain accurate work logs and report any recurring or major issues
• Undertake additional duties as required, such as minor bodywork or painting

About You

• Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally within an automotive or machinery environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must provide own tools
