Job Summary

IT Support Engineer – Belfast – Permanent – c£38,000 per annum

REED Technology are pleased to announce a collaboration with a managed service provider in Belfast that prides itself on delivering a strong, high quality service to its client base supporting companies of all sizes. Due to recent growth they are looking to add to their team

As a IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for installing/configuring systems for new and existing customers. You will provide technical support for these products and work with other technical team members and field engineers to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities,

  • Level 2/3 Support
  • Microsoft 365/SharePoint/Azure
  • Server /Desktop support
  • Networking

Essential Criteria

  • 3rd level IT Technical education
  • Minimum 3 years in similar technical support role
  • Knowledge of IT architectures (Client/Server-Systems)
  • Broad experience with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Basic Knowledge with MS Active Directory
  • Knowledge in Databases (MS SQL) & SQL
  • Knowledge in computer networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP, firewalling)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Basic Knowledge of software architecture
