Signatus are working with a growing solicitors practice based in Lisburn that has a thriving Property, family law and Litigation department. This small and successful office are looking to appoint a new assistant solicitor with experience across one or all of the above practice areas to join their team. Ideally a solicitor with a few years experience in residential property law would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to build out a long term career, in a well established and reputable practice, with a clear pathway for career progression, high quality work and a friendly collaborative team. Hybrid, full time and part time working conditions can be discussed depending on experience level.
As a solicitor with a few years experience you will be given an opportunity to run a caseload of residential property files with partner level supervision and assist in the running of family law matters in both the DPC and FCC.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing own caseload of property and family law and children’s law cases
- Advising clients on legal rights and obligations
- Preparing court documents and attending hearings
- Liaising with clients, experts, and other legal professionals
- Supporting senior partners and engaging with outside counsel on complex cases
Ideal candidate profile:
- NI Qualified solicitor c1-3 years PQE but more senior solicitors in the salary band would be considered.
- Strong interest and foundational experience in property and family law though some support and training can be provided. Ideally the candidate will have a strong property foundation and the family law element can be developed
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
