Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative
Location: Moira
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 4:00pm start – Job and Finish (42.5 hours/week, 30-minute unpaid break)
Salary: £29,000 per annum

The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join the team. You’ll play a key role in the handling, storage, and dispatch of bakery ingredients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Forklift Trucks (Counterbalance/Reach) and other MHE safely
- Accurately pick stock for production and dispatch
- Store stock in designated locations using scanners or manual records
- Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
- Load/unload deliveries and check goods in/out
- Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams
- Follow food safety, allergen control, and hygiene procedures
Health & Safety Commitment
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices
- Use PPE and equipment correctly
- Participate in risk assessments and safety initiatives
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent – Counterbalance/Reach)
- Warehouse/logistics/manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Knowledge of HACCP, allergen handling, or food hygiene
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
- Familiarity with inventory systems or handheld scanners
