Procurement Officer: Belfast, Northern Ireland (On-site)

We’re looking for a driven Procurement Officer to join our integrated supply chain team. You’ll work hands-on with suppliers and stakeholders to secure goods and services that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. Your focus: ensuring a smooth, efficient procurement process that delivers real value.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and bid evaluations for high-value or technically complex procurements.
- Evaluate supplier proposals for technical and commercial compliance in coordination with other functions and quality assurance teams.
- Source and purchase goods, materials, and services at the right cost, quality, and time.
- Analyse markets, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve best value.
- Manage contractual risks, claims, variations, and amendments, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Liaise with legal and project teams to interpret and apply contractual obligations and deliverables.
- Improve procurement processes to boost efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships.
- Work in a dynamic and growing procurement environment with amazing challenges that will allow you to increase your knowledge and experience in different types of purchases.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Strong contract management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the local supply chain.
