The Purpose of the role:
This role provides the opportunity to assist in delivering an action-packed sponsorships calendar as well as making a real difference for our charity partners and supporting in activating the Group’s PR function through both traditional and digital channels.
Working as Corporate Marketing Administrative Assistant your duties will include:
Administration: Administrative duties including but not limited to: customer service enquiries, imagery archive requests, promotional stock management, voucher distribution and developing presentations/reports.
Events: Provide support for the execution of diverse and engaging events. Examples include SPAR/EUROSPAR store openings, conferences, award ceremonies, charity fundraising initiatives, and customer hospitality events.
Sponsorships: Contribute to the coordination of key sponsorship events, involving branding, product support and ticket distribution. Examples include the Balmoral Show, SPAR Craic 10k, Omagh marathon, School Sports Days, and the W5/Belfast Giants and Ulster Rugby partnerships.
Community Sponsorships: Assist in evaluating community sponsorship requests through the Thrive CSR Portal and Customer Services Team, ensuring alignment with Company policy. Arrange support where feasible to contribute to the well-being of the neighbourhoods in which we operate.
PR: Collaborate with our PR agency to assist with press release content for various initiatives, including SPAR/EUROSPAR/VIVO/VIVOXTRA store openings and anniversaries. Assist in organising photocall requests and developing monthly reports.
Digital: Monitor corporate website updating information where relevant
Skills for Success
Joining us as Corporate Marketing Administrative Assistant the minimum criteria youll need is:
Previous experience in administration, preferably in a similar role
Full UK/EU driving license
The Attributes youll need include:
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to use initiative
Excellent attention to detail
It is desirable if you have:
Experience of working across all Microsoft packages, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Interest in marketing, PR or events industry
Previous experience working in Retail, Hospitality or Events

This is a part-time position working 17.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 10am-1:30pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
