Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist contractor to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team
Your new company
Are a specialist contractor, focusing on refurbishments, fitout, construction and extensions for Commercial properties. You’ll join a team that includes a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Bid Manager, Buyer and Document Controller
About your new role as Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Prepare valuations
- Complete CVRs on a monthly basis
- Negotiate subcontracts, costs and packages
- Confirm and value subcontractor payments
- Negotiate and agree final accounts
- Prepare Bill of Quantities
- Assist with procurement
- Monitor and review project cash flow
What you’ll need to be successful
- 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering Construction or a related field
- 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying position
- A broad scope of project experience, including groundworks and structural packages
- Experience with NEC and JCT contracts
- Full driving licence
