Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Joiner to join our NIHE Bathroom, Kitchen and Rewiring Scheme. This role involves a wide range of joinery tasks to support BKR Scheme, working closely with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard. This role will be based in the Omagh area.

Monday Friday
7.00AM 4.30 PM

Roles & Responsibilities:

Job roles will include but are not limited to:

Assist with the installation of kitchens and bathrooms including:
Carry out all joinery work required to support heating installations
Fit pipe casings, lift and re-lay floorboards
Install roof vents and remove/re-fit fireplaces
Work as part of an efficient and collaborative team
Undertake some general labouring duties when required
Support colleagues across other sites as directed by management
Other tasks as deemed necessary by management

Personnel Specification:

Essential Criteria:

NVQ Level 3 in Joinery (or equivalent) / Time-served Joiner
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work across multiple locations as required

Desirable Criteria:

Experience working on social housing schemes
