About you
You will have experience in internal communications, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment, and you enjoy being hands on with content and channels. You will be someone who likes rolling up your sleeves to build and publish content, can work accurately and quickly, and is comfortable collaborating with lots of different teams and stakeholders across the firm.
The opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic internal communications professional to join our busy communications team. This is a junior, hands-on role, ideal for someone at an early stage in their career who is keen to grow their experience in internal communications.
You will support the team by creating and publishing content across multiple channels, working closely with colleagues in different teams and locations, and helping to ensure internal messages are timely, clear and engaging.
It is the ideal opportunity for someone with energy, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for internal communication who enjoys working at pace and collaborating across the firm.
What you will be doing
This is a key support role for our busy and impactful internal communications team and one where your hands-on skills will make a real difference. You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of key aspects our internal communications and engagement, with a particular focus on content build, internal editing and publishing and channel management.
Responsibilities include:
Internal weekly newsletter: compiling, editing and distributing our all firm update every Friday
Intranet management: drafting, building and publishing pages and articles, designing layouts, sourcing imagery, updating existing content, managing the events calendar, and responding to queries
Email communications: drafting and producing Vuture emails and newsletters, ensuring they are accurate, well presented, and tailored to the audience
Digital signage: creating visual screens in Canva and scheduling announcements and campaigns ensuring regularity and relevancy
Content creation and adaptation: writing articles, post event summaries, and campaign updates, as well as adapting press releases or stakeholder content for internal audiences- working closely with the team to secure consensus and approvals throughout
Collaboration with stakeholders: working with a wide range of colleagues for example across HR, EDI, ESG and around our European offices to understand their needs and adjust communications appropriately
Campaign support: coordinating activity for firmwide initiatives, tracking progress, maintaining comms plans, and ensuring regular updates are delivered
Internal events support: creating and sending calendar invites, coordinating logistics, and producing follow up communications
Monitoring the Internal Communications mailbox every day and distributing emails to the correct colleagues – joining the dots along the way
Regular ‘good hygiene’ updates, for example checking our intranet pages, refreshing and attending to any broken links – continuous improvement
What you will bring
We are looking for someone who thrives on execution and enjoys being hands on with content and channels. You will need:
Experience in communications, marketing, or PR, ideally gained in a law firm or professional services environment in a delivery focused, operational role
Strong technical skills and confidence in intranet and content management systems, with a genuine interest in the detail of content build
Excellent writing and editing abilities, with the flexibility to adjust tone and style for different stakeholders and audiences
Proficiency with tools such as SharePoint, Vuture, Canva, and the Microsoft suite
A collaborative approach, comfortable working with colleagues at all levels and across multiple offices
Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire confidence in those you support
Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver accurate work at pace while managing multiple projects
