The Foods Connected Vice President of Marketing will lead the global marketing function during a pivotal scale-up phase, guiding the company’s brand, growth, and market expansion strategy. As a member of the senior management team, you will shape the strategic direction of the business, scale our B2B software platform across multiple industries, and ensure marketing is a core driver of commercial success.

The Vice President of Marketing will oversee an established global marketing operation across EMEA, APAC, and North America, ensuring regional strategies are aligned with global objectives while tailored to local market dynamics. This includes coordinating time zone-sensitive campaigns, managing regional budgets, and adapting messaging to cultural and regulatory nuances.
A strong background in digital marketing for B-2-B enterprise SaaS is essential, with the ability to lead performance-driven strategies across paid media, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, and analytics. You will also bring deep experience in product and account-based marketing (ABM), working closely with sales to target high-value accounts with personalised, insight-led campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue.
In addition, you will drive our product marketing efforts owning positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategies that clearly articulate the value of our platform to diverse industry segments.
As a visible and vocal advocate for the brand and our customers, you will champion a customer centric mindset across Foods Connected, ensuring our marketing reflects the voice of the customer and builds lasting trust and engagement.
Experience in M&A environments is highly desirable, as the VP of Marketing will play a key role in brand integration, communications strategy, and market positioning during potential acquisitions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Marketing Leadership – 60%
- Define and own the global marketing vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with scale-up growth objectives.
- Lead annual and quarterly planning for communications, and customer acquisition budgets, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Oversee global demand generation strategy across all market segments and geographies.
- Works in partnership with our Head of Product to define go-to-market positioning, customer segmentation, and value propositions.
- Spearhead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, vertical expansion, and M&A brand integration.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, with a strong grasp of performance marketing, analytics, and marketing automation tools.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing account-based marketing (ABM) strategies in close collaboration with sales to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Strong background in product marketing, including go-to-market planning, positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis across multiple verticals.
- Coordinate regional marketing efforts across EMEA, APAC, and North America, ensuring consistency in brand while respecting local market needs.
- Contribute to M&A due diligence by assessing brand strength, market reputation, and marketing capabilities of target companies.
Marketing Operations & Team Development – 30%
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team with clear KPIs and development pathways.
- Design scalable marketing processes and infrastructure to support rapid headcount and geographic growth.
- Establish regional marketing leads or liaisons to ensure local execution and feedback loops.
- Evaluate and implement best-in-class MarTech stack solutions to support scale (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, WordPress, Google Analytics).
- Own marketing performance reporting including pipeline contribution, conversion metrics, and ROI across global regions with significant focus on MQL generation.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Development to ensure alignment on goals, messaging, and execution.
- Lead internal communications and change management initiatives during M&A transitions.
Cross Functional Project Management – 10%
- Collaborate across Sales, Product, Development, Professional Services, Account Management and Customer Success to align marketing with product delivery and customer onboarding and ongoing success.
- Support operational planning for new customer acquisition, implementation success, and post-merger integration.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the VP of Marketing should have experience with:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including team management and strategic planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years in B2B Enterprise SaaS marketing, ideally within the Food or Manufacturing sectors.
- Proven success in scaling marketing functions and driving measurable growth in scale-up environments.
- Experience in M&A communications, brand integration, and post-acquisition marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated success in leading global marketing teams and coordinating regional efforts across EMEA, APAC, and North America.
- CIM Diploma or equivalent certification preferred
Technical Skills
- HubSpot or Salesforce: End-to-end campaign automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting.
- Integration with sales pipelines, customer success workflows, and product usage data.
- ZoomInfo, Clearbit, LinkedIn Sales Navigator: Enhance lead profiles, enrich CRM data, and personalise outreach.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar, Mixpanel, or Heap: Track user behaviour, funnel performance, and conversion paths.
- Multi-touch attribution modelling and ROI analysis across channels and regions.
- Execute account-based marketing strategies and coordinate global campaigns.
- Regional targeting and personalisation across EMEA, APAC, and North America.
- Experience marketing SaaS products in regulated B2B industries (e.g. food, manufacturing, or supply chain) is highly desirable.
- Manage multilingual content and ensure consistent brand messaging across markets.
- Integration with analytics, SEO tools, and lead capture forms.
