With a strong focus on operational excellence and strategic growth, the company is seeking a talented Financial Controller to lead its finance function and contribute meaningfully to its continued success.
Your new roleAs Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Financial Director and lead a small finance team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, insightful analysis, and robust financial controls. This role will see you partnering with operational heads across the business to drive performance, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts and board-level analysis
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting cycles
- Managing internal controls and financial processes
- Preparing year-end audit packs and statutory accounts
- Conducting monthly cash flow analysis
- Acting as a key business partner to improve profitability and performance
What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance position within a fast-paced commercial environment. You’ll have a proven track record of working closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategy and governance, as well as experience managing and developing a finance team.
