The Role
To supportthe critical Accounts Payablefunction to contribute to the continued growth and development of Finnebrogue.
Previous expierence working in a similiar role is essential to be successful.
Duties and Responsibilities
The position will have a number of key responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Take charge of allocated supplier account(s)
Matching, checking, agreeing invoices and posting to ledger
Process supplier credit notes
Ensuring invoices are authorized and released on a timely basis for payment
Manage and allocate contra deductions
Monitor and manage the AP inbox
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Escalate any issues to the Accounts Payable Supervisor as required
Managing/ processing the set-up of supplier accounts
Assist with month-end tasks, including ledger close and reporting
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Assist with gathering information for external financial audits
Any other relevant duties as and when required
Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday with core hours being 10am to 4pm and Friday 10am – 3pm.
