What you’ll do
- Lead the organisation’s financial strategy, reporting, and day-to-day operations.
- Manage the preparation of budgets, management accounts, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee cash flow, statutory returns, and financial controls across the organisation.
- Act as strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on all financial matters.
- Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, controls and reporting tools.
- Represent the organisation at internal and external finance meetings and ensure regulatory compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House.
- Support fundraising applications and financial reporting to funders and donors.
About you
- AAT / ATI qualification, or equivalent knowledge through experience.
- Minimum 12 months experience managing finance functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Proven experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial info to non-finance stakeholders.
- High-level IT literacy, including Excel and accounting software.
