Other key duties include:
- Assisting Graduate / Technical Engineers in the successful delivery of technical services as per contractual requirements
- Learning the fundamentals of various technical matters and providing support and guidance where possible
- Preparation of technical specifications
- Establishing and miniating relationships with supplier of technical materials, equipment and services
- Preparation and submission of requisitions
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials ordered
- Attendance at meetings and events to represent the Company’s technical department
- Vessel attendance alongside Technical Engineer / Graduate Technical Engineers to carry out precondition surveys, to determine scope of works and to provide technical support during contract execution phase
