Black Fox Solutions are currently working with one of the countries largest building contractors who are looking to bring an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk onboard to support their growing finance team. If you are looking for an opportunity to join an exciting and growing business, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
Accurately coding and entering invoices into the purchase ledger system, ensuring timely and complete processing
Processing a high volume of invoices and goods received notes, with precise matching to purchase orders (POs)
Requesting credit notes and ensuring they are processed accordingly
Managing and responding to purchase ledger enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve invoice and payment-related queries
Performing supplier statement reconciliations and addressing payment discrepancies during month-end close
Proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, recommending process enhancements and leveraging IT solutions where appropriate
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience working within a busy accounts department
Proficient with Microsoft Office Packages
