Accounts Technician

We are working with an established Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Co Armagh, to recruit for an Accounts Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have solid practice experience.

The Accounts Technician will be responsible for:

Preparing accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations for a diverse portfolio of local businesses

Carrying out bookkeeping tasks

Processing payroll

Supporting clients with cloud accounting systems and real-time financial reporting

What you will need to have for the Accounts Technician role:

Previous experience within an Accounts role, preferably within practice

Proficiency with Accounting Software to include: Xero, IRIS, Sage

Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
