Job Overview
VANRATH is recruiting on behalf of a well-established company for a hands-on HR Generalist. This role involves supporting day-to-day HR operations, with a focus on employee relations, and general HR operations.

What you’ll do:
- Provide operational support across the Group’s HR functions, ensuring consistent and efficient HR delivery.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee relations issues, offering guidance and support to managers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies, and regulatory requirements across multiple sites.
- Assist with the administration of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce regular reports for management.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving employee engagement and organisational performance.
- Collaborate with site managers to address day-to-day HR matters in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a hands-on HR role, ideally within a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR compliance.
- Experience in managing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
