Job Summary

Are you an organised and detail-driven finance professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic environment? We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with payroll expertise to join a well-established construction firm and support the smooth running of the financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are received and properly recorded
  • Follow up with customers on overdue accounts and resolve billing/payment discrepancies
  • Reconcile customer accounts and prepare ageing reports
  • Weekly and monthly payroll processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with purchase ledger tasks, including invoice entry and supplier communications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance role
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
