PRODUCTION OPERATIVE (BUFFING/ HAND FINISHING)

AProductionOperative(Buffing)intheMachineShopisresponsibleforBuffingandhandfinishingmachinedpartstoahighcosmeticstandardusinghandheld powertools and manualequipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibleforbuffingandhandfinishingmachinedpartstoahighcosmeticstandardusinghandheldpowertools.
Responsibleforcleaningandmaintenanceofallpowertoolsusedinthebufferingprocess.
Managestocklevelsofallconsumablesusingthebuffering processandliaisewithmanagementtoreorderifnecessary.
Responsibleforvisualqualitycontrolonalloutgoingpartsthathavebeenbuffed.ThiswillagainbecheckedbyQCafterwards.
Communicatewellbetweenmachineoperators,qualitycontroland management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Essential Requirements

Haveakeeneyefordetail.
Abletoworkindependentlyinafast-pacedmachineshop.
Knowledgeoforexperienceusingorbitalsandersandorhand files.
Experience working in an engineering Environment
