Charity Jobs NI (part of the Happy Jobs group) is exclusively partnering with Positive Futures to recruit Community Support Workers in Omagh. This is a fantastic opportunity to empower children and young people with learning disabilities, autism or acquired brain injury to live the life they want.

Positive Futures supports people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives through exceptional, person-centred support.
About the Role:
You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred support at home and in the community – enabling social participation, building independence and promoting choice, communication and wellbeing. Travel will be required across Omagh and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Person-Centred Support: Deliver tailored support in line with individual plans, enabling daily living skills and community participation.
- Safety & Wellbeing: Follow safeguarding, risk and recording procedures; keep clear, accurate records (logs, incidents, risk updates).
- Independence & Communication: Encourage decision-making, self-advocacy and confidence.
- Teamwork & Flexibility: Work consistently and flexibly on your own or within a team, including evenings and Saturdays on rota.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: At least 6 months’ recent (past 2 years) personal or professional experience providing care/support (including family, volunteering or work placements); right to work in the UK; full UK driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes (or willingness to amend insurance).
- Desirable: Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or acquired brain injury; QCF/NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).

Salary: £23,874-£25,027 per annum (pro rata) / £12.21-£12.80 per hour
