Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

• Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Client Liaison

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage project coordinators, engineers, and installation teams.
• Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Quality Assurance

• Enforce quality control standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain service excellence.

Budget & Financial Management

• Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Approve expenditures, track costs, and report on financial performance.

Compliance, Health & Safety

• Ensure projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training and regular audits.

Surveying

• Carry out detailed site surveys, identifying potential challenges.
• Gather and document location data, including electrical infrastructure and drone-based roof measurements.
• Share survey findings with the design team for project planning.

The Person

• A third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in the renewable energy or construction sectors.
• Proven track record as a Project Manager or Programme Manager.
• Skilled in overseeing projects from conception through to completion.
• Strong client-facing, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance practices.
• Adaptable, resilient, and able to perform under pressure.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about sustainable energy.
• Full, clean driver’s licence.
