Accounts technician, part qualified accountant, Practice accountant

Hays client is a small, friendly accountancy practice based in, South Belfast, seeking a dedicated Accounts Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is either formally qualified or qualified by experience, and who enjoys working in a general practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns for a range of clients
- Completion of personal tax returns and liaising with HMRC where necessary
- Assisting with bookkeeping and accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies
- Supporting clients with general queries and providing practical advice
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
What you’ll need to succeed
Qualified IATI technician with practice experience
Qualified by Experience (3 years practice experience) if you do not hold a qualification as an accounts technician.
Industry experience will be considered
