The Opportunity

A leading property consultancy with a strong track record in rural land, estates, and valuation work is looking for a Senior Rural Surveyor to join their Inverness office. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of rural assets and projects across Scotland, with particular emphasis on valuations, rural sales, and professional advisory work.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

  • Delivering professional advice across all areas of rural property, including valuation, consultancy, sales, and management.
  • Advising clients on land use, estate strategy, diversification, and rural transactions.
  • Undertaking valuations for a broad range of purposes – from sales and lettings through to secured lending, taxation, and succession planning.
  • Supporting clients with matters such as planning, access agreements, wayleaves, sporting rights, and wider estate projects.

About You

  • MRICS qualified, ideally a RICS Registered Valuer.
  • Membership of CAAV would be an advantage.
  • Commercially aware, motivated, and confident in building strong relationships with clients.
  • A self-starter who enjoys working both independently and as part of a wider rural team.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the travel involved.
