Service Administrator – Garvagh – Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Administrator to join a busy service team in Garvagh. In this role, you will provide professional front-line support to customers while delivering a wide range of administrative and service-related tasks. Its a varied position that combines customer contact with back-office organisation, making it ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident on the phone, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

About this role:

  • £Competitive salary (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday
  • 29 days holidays per year (including Statutory).

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring all calls are handled professionally, promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support to the Service Director and wider team as required.
  • Process daily timesheets and post times to relevant jobs.
  • Consult with customers, keeping them updated on repair progress and service work.
  • Manage work in progress, close jobs and prepare invoices.
  • Review warranty paperwork to ensure compliance with suppliers terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and issue machine certificates and customer reminders on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Maintain and update schedules, databases and registers using Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and Excel.

What you’ll need for this role:

  • Have experience ideally similar background and be able to show good oral and written communication skills in a similar role.
  • Be polite, professional and well presented with a pleasant and confident telephone manner.
  • Have excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Can demonstrate strong administration skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Can multi-task and perform well in challenging situations with a positive can-do attitude.
