VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with an industry leading manufacturer based in North Down, wishing to appoint a HR Business Partner to their growing commercial team.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to partner for leaders across the business, helping them grow their teams, solve problems with empathy and clarity, and build a culture where care and performance go hand in hand.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be a trusted partner – guiding senior leaders with sound, people-focused advice, from employee relations to organisational change.
- Shape culture – embed values, coach leaders, and help create a workplace where everyone belongs.
- Build talent – support smart hiring, onboarding, and succession planning to get the right people in the right roles.
- Grow capability – help identify skill gaps, nurture future leaders, and make learning part of everyday practice.
- Drive performance & engagement – from fair feedback to wellbeing initiatives, you’ll help people feel valued and inspired.
- Do the “special things” – bring creativity and heart to projects that don’t fit the usual boxes.
The Successful Person
- Proven experience as a People or HR Business Partner in a commercial, sales-focused environment
- Confidence and credibility to influence at all levels, with commercial and sales leaders
- Previous experience leading or managing other HR professionals
- Strong HR generalist skills and excellent UK employment law knowledge
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset – you love to fix, improve, and innovate
- Empathy, integrity, and a belief in the power of people
- The ability to balance strategy with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, growing organisation
