Your new role
As an NPD Technologist, you’ll play a key role in developing new products from concept to launch. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including technical, commercial, and production to ensure all new products meet customer expectations, cost targets, and food safety standards. This is a hands-on role involving recipe development, factory trials, and customer presentations.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline, along with previous experience in a similar NPD role within the food manufacturing sector. You should have a strong understanding of food trends, ingredients, and regulatory requirements in the UK and EU. Excellent communication skills, creativity, and commercial awareness are essential, as is a full UK driving licence.
