Description:
We are hiring for our client, who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their established engineering and projects team. With a major capital programme underway, this role will focus on leading the design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects within a highly regulated environment.

The Role:

  • Manage design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical projects
  • Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resources
  • Oversee design, drawings, and approvals to align with programme requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all technical standards, regulations, and specifications
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance systems
  • Support site teams, enforce H&S standards, and manage safe systems of work
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor progress and performance against targets
  • Lead project meetings and technical discussions
  • Provide guidance to project teams and support commercial reporting

The Person:

  • Degree (UK Level 6 or above) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on medium–large construction projects
  • Strong background in HV, MV, LV, and communication systems
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
  • Construction industry card (CSCS, CSR, or SafePass)
  • Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) and UK H&S standards
  • Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, and project performance
