Production Planner

Due to continued growth, I am delighted to be working with a leading engineering and manufacturing business who are seeking for a Production Planner to join their team on a permanent full-time basis

Working closely with the Demand Manager you will

• Plan production schedules, for the build and delivery of customer orders,
• Determine resources required
• Prepare and maintain production reports
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Attend meetings with internal team and other stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are managed and fulfilled.
• Review and adjust the schedule where needed
• Manage customer orders
• Gather information on production times, material costs and resource requirements to produce a price estimate with the use of an MRP system
• Providing quotes to customers from off-plan drawings / specifications
• Other adhoc duties

About you

• Experience of working within a similar role
• Experience of using MRP/ERP systems
