They are seeking a talented and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to join their high-performing team in Belfast. They have achieved year-on-year growth and are now focused on refining their operations to support this momentum.
The Role
As the Warehouse Operations Manager you will play a key leadership role whilst also reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive team environment. You will manage a core team of 12 warehouse staff, which expands to around 40 people during seasonal peaks.
Key Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement,analysing current systems and implementing strategies.Take responsibility for building a vision of a great process and making it a reality.

Lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and professional development.

Liaise with the HR Manager to resolve all related issues, as this helps to foster a strong team culture.

Oversee all aspects of fulfillment, from stock logistics to maintaining a safe, organised workspace.

Ensure that all operational targets and KPIs are consistently met.

Maintain a proactive approach to minimizing loss, with a focus on preventing shrinkage,damage, and theft.

Check & ensure all warehouse policies, procedures, and safety regulations are up-to-date and strictly followed. You will also manage site and supplier audits.

Collaborate with transport companies to negotiate rates and services. Manage all stock logistics, ensuring accurate stock movements within the warehouse and to our retail shops.
Essential Criteria

A minimum 2+ years of senior management experience in Warehouse Operations or logistics management

Proven ability to meet and exceed operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Direct experience with inventory management, including proactive strategies for shrinkage, damage, and theft prevention.

Highly resilient and self-motivated, with a collaborative work ethic.

Proficiency in ERP systems and excellent communication skills.

Expertise in process optimisation, with a track record of implementing efficient workflow management systems.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team that fluctuates in size with seasonal demands.
