What Youll Be Doing

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to fully understand project requirements

• Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

• Visiting project sites (as needed) to assess conditions and gather critical information

• Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids

• Producing detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documentation

• Identifying risks, value engineering (VE) opportunities, and potential cost savings

• Assisting in tender submissions and client presentations

• Staying updated on industry trends, construction methods, and pricing

• Working closely with project management to align estimates with project delivery

What Were Looking For

• 34 years of post-grad experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in fit-out / construction

• Strong understanding of estimating, cost management, and contract administration

• Proficiency with software such as Evaluate and Procore

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
