The role

You’ll be the key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily transport activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all day-to-day administrative tasks for the transport team and maintain precise digital and physical records.

• Coordinate the daily scheduling of drivers, vehicles, and deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Ensure meticulous records are maintained for driver hours, vehicle checks, and all necessary compliance documentation.

• Provide support with route planning, resource allocation, and resolving queries from drivers, customers, and colleagues in a timely manner.

• Prepare accurate reports and maintain our digital systems to support effective decision-making.

The Person

• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a transport or logistics environment.

• Exceptional organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and a high level of proficiency in IT, including strong Excel skills. Excellent communication is a must.

• trustworthy, dependable, and skilled at handling multiple tasks. Your ability to work independently while also being a positive, proactive team player is crucial.
