Management Accountant About the Company

On behalf of our client, a leading global manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), we are delighted to be recruiting for a Management / Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.

The Role

As a Management / Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate financial reporting and the smooth running of group-wide financial processes. Working closely with the Group Financial Director and Finance Manager, you will contribute to management accounts, statutory reporting, and process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and report on company travel and expenses.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts across group companies.

• Ensure compliance with relevant HMRC regimes.

• Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances.

• Support the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of management accounts.

• Assist with year-end audits and statutory account preparation.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve finance processes, including automation.

• Prepare reports for external stakeholders as required.

• Ensure adherence to ISO9001 Quality Management standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience with 2+ years relevant experience).

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential).

• The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines while maintaining high standards.

• A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently and identify areas for improvement.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment and/or ERP systems (desirable).
