Management Accountant About the Company
On behalf of our client, a leading global manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), we are delighted to be recruiting for a Management / Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.

The Role
As a Management / Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate financial reporting and the smooth running of group-wide financial processes. Working closely with the Group Financial Director and Finance Manager, you will contribute to management accounts, statutory reporting, and process improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and report on company travel and expenses.

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts across group companies.

Ensure compliance with relevant HMRC regimes.

Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances.

Support the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of management accounts.

Assist with year-end audits and statutory account preparation.

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve finance processes, including automation.

Prepare reports for external stakeholders as required.

Ensure adherence to ISO9001 Quality Management standards.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience with 2+ years relevant experience).

Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential).

The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines while maintaining high standards.

A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently and identify areas for improvement.

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment and/or ERP systems (desirable).
