Salary:£ 26,000 – £ 27,000

Reporting to:Coordination Team Manager

The Role

As a Senior Coordinator, you are responsible for driving the growth of Northern Trust by leading the team of Coordinators.

You will be responsible for supporting and managing the Northern Trust co-ordination team with any queries or concerns they have, setting expansion targets alongside company strategic objectives and assisting the team when and where it is required. You will be required to work alongside new employees to train and develop their practical skills, ensuring the high level of compliance expected by Connected Health is achieved.

You will be required to provide insight to the Coordination Team Manager on the area in which you work and to work with them collaboratively to grow the area whilst maintaining quality.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Relationship Management

Strong telephone skills

Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Computer literate. Including MS Office.

6 months administrative experience.

Minimum of three months co-ordination experience

Fast Learner, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

Must have English and Mathematics GCSE, Grade C or above

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

Previous experience of Managing a team

Previous experience of training a team

Understanding of legislation concerned with care provision.

Experience working within the care industry

Main duties & Responsibilities

Provide support and guidance to the Northern Trust co-ordination Team, to ensure the Connected Health clients receive the best outcomes in everything we do.

To be supportive towards your team and assist them in their learning, development, and ability to work to a high standard.

Be knowledgeable on Connected Healths policies and procedures. Ensuring the Connected Health Policies & Procedures are always adhered to provide a safe working environment.

Passionately promote the aims and values of Connected Health.

Overseeing coordination procedures in Northern Trust working alongside other Senior Coordinators who are based in Head Office

Assisting the Coordination Team Manager in the day to day running of the NT team

Supervising NT team in the absence of the Coordination Manager

Responsible for sourcing and implementing new packages, with a knowledge of all capacities for both clients and staff in the area.

Working closely with all brokerages and Care Managers within the Trusts to establish a good working relationship.

Creation and maintenance of accurate staff rotas, ensure continuity of care.

Compiling reports for invoicing, payroll, and management.

Set up new clients on IT system, uploading package details before the first call takes place, prepare folders for client homes. All new packages must be on the system by the end of business day.

Maintain all client activity on IT system.

To be conversant with the Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary Care Regulations (National Minimum Standards) and legislation governing the service and other regulations concerning the provision of both domiciliary care and residential care services.

To be aware of the Quality Assurance Policy of the Company in the provision of a quality service to the Service Users.

To always represent the Company in a professional manner, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.

To ensure that telephones are answered promptly, and people are spoken to in a polite and respectful manner.

To always maintain confidentiality and carry out the Companys Confidentiality Policy.

To report to the Coordination Manager any issues regarding the safeguarding of clients.

To ensure the continuous improvement of service delivery

To participate in companywide projects

To carry out any other tasks required by the company

*This role will be based in our Whiteabbey office but will require travel to and from our head office in Belfast, including one day working from head office Belfast *
