As a Transport Planner, you will be working within a close-knit team and will have the opportunity to be part of a highly efficient transport operation that focuses on exceeding their customer’s expectations and giving the highest levels of customer service.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of organising transport or distribution across the UK or Ireland, possess great organisational skills and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Oversee daily work schedule and routing for drivers
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
• Ensure that the performance of drivers is effectively managed and excellence is recognised
• Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
• Ensure activities within operations are carried out with the highest regard and in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
• Rotational Night shift pattern
• Hours: 7pm – 7am

You will need

• Transport Planning Experience
• Knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
• Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
• Mandata experience would be beneficial, but not essential
• Good geographical knowledge of UK & Ireland
