Are you a Project Manager with an electrical or mechanical engineering background, looking to step into a customer-facing role where you’ll oversee major installations for global names in the food and beverage sector? Do you want to join a growing engineering company where you’ll work directly with senior leadership and manage diverse projects from concept to completion?
On offer is the chance to join VSM, a trusted engineering partner specialising in mechanical and electrical installations for the FMCG sector. As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading site surveys, preparing quotations, managing engineering teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.
This is a varied role combining project leadership, technical expertise, and client liaison for someone with a hands-on electrical background who wants to progress into a leadership role while staying close to the technical side of projects.
The Role
- Manage multiple mechanical & electrical installation projects across manufacturing environments
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear updates and smooth project delivery
- Coordinate and support site-based engineering teams
- Prepare project reports and documentation for senior management
The Person
- Time-served background in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience managing projects in factory/manufacturing environments
- Full driving license & flexibility to travel across Ireland
