We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.
Team Overview:
The Production team oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all manufacturing and assembly activities within our fabrication facilities. They ensure that bespoke mechanical and electrical components are produced efficiently, to the highest quality standards, and delivered on schedule. By maintaining streamlined workflows and close collaboration with design and project teams, the Production department plays a key role in supporting timely and successful project delivery.
Role Overview:
Due to continued growth, we are looking to integrate a Production Administrator/Controller to support our growing manufacturing and assembly teams in our Satellite sites. This post is a permanent contract. It is an amazing opportunity for a candidate that wants to gain experience with a progressive and dynamic company to further their career.
The Production Administrator/Controller is responsible for developing the Master Delivery Schedule in conjunction with Planning, they will interrogate the Drawings and using Excel calculators convert the drawings into actual times for use by the MDS to create site schedules with planned hours.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Develop Site Production Schedule from the Master Schedule with the Planner.
- Analyse Engineering Drawings and create BOMs .
- Check on materials ordered from the BOM on the material trackers and reaffirm list.
- Generate picking lists & co-ordinate with stores for timely delivery of materials to sites.
- Ensure fabrication & assembly drawings are issued to Sub-Contractors and recorded on drawing release schedule & master schedule.
- Ensure drawings are approved by Contracts in a timely manner and advise Document Control when ready for issue to subcontractor.
- Provide Daily & Weekly KPI information (details defined for each site), and create reports.
- Update Process progress on Field View.
- Define Site Capacity for each activity- hours available in conjunction with Senior Production Managers.
- Provide information to enable the development & maintenance of production plans by Planner.
- Attendance at & engagement with daily morning Fabrication & Assembly Meeting.
- Chase shortages from Construction Material Requests (CMRs).
- Organising transport to & from galvanising sub-contractors in conjunction with others.
- Attendance at improvement meetings & completion of actions which arise from these.
- Providing schedule to sub-contractor and managing the adherence to that schedule.
- Ensure subcontracted material/pipes/frames are received onto Fieldview after inspection by QC.
- Work in conjunction with other Planners/controllers on other sites.
- Report daily progress into the Master Delivery Schedule.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 3 years’ experience within a role completing similar duties
- Being able to read and understand assembly and schematic drawings
- Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and high organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong administration skills
- Proficient with the use of IT equipment & systems
- Full UK Driving licence
What You Would Ideally Have:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ in construction, CSR) are advantageous
