About the Role:
Our client is a leading Manufacturing company based in Dungannon. They are expanding their engineering team and seeking Senior Electrical Design Engineers and Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to lead the development of innovative, high-performance systems from concept to production. These are senior-level positions for experienced engineers who can own designs, guide teams, and deliver robust, compliant, and manufacturable solutions.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities –
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts.
- Perform simulations, calculations, and component selection to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work for quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Degree Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of electrical design experience in relevant industries (industrial, automotive, aerospace, etc.).
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Solidworks and Eplan
- Experience with electrified vehicle powertrain systems, off-road electrical systems design.
- Detailed knowledge of current regulations and electrical design standard
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities –
- Lead the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components.
- Produce 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Conduct FEA and tolerance analyses to validate designs.
- Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and validation.
- Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure design integration
- Adherence to ISO 9001
- Mentor and support junior engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of mechanical design experience in relevant industries.
- Proficiency in CAD tools
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes,
