MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Field Service Engineer for our client, who is the world market leader in fire prevention through the development and marketing of industrially deployed spark detection and elimination systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Communication: Deliver outstanding service, build strong relationships with customers and the service team, and ensure clear communication through accurate reporting and documentation.
- Operational Excellence & Safety: Contribute to departmental goals with high-quality output, follow safety guidelines, complete risk assessments, and promote a safe working environment.
- Service Delivery & Technical Tasks: Plan and execute service, repair, fault-finding, commissioning, and training activities; assist with installations and manufacturing tasks.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency: Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives (CIP, Kaizen, LEAN), optimise use of tools and materials, and resolve issues proactively.
- Team Contribution & Flexibility: Support the overall functioning of the company, take on additional duties and training as needed, and maintain flexibility to meet business needs.
Essential Criteria:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Formal electrical qualification, to include test and inspection
- Relevant Level 3 technical qualification
