Assistant Accountant
Our client is currently looking to recruit for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a leading employer of choice in the local area and be part of a busy finance team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of month end and year end accounts
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Identify invoices that need processes in line with credit terms
- Matching of purchase orders to supplier invoices
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Completion of daily bank balance reports
- Other relevant duties
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum of 3 (+) years working within accounts and finance
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in working with accounts packages Sage, Quickbooks
- Previous experience in managing / supervising a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Strong analytical ability
