Your new role
As an Administrative Officer, you will provide a wide range of professional administrative support services. You will be responsible for handling enquiries from the public, elected members, and external agencies, offering advice and signposting where appropriate. Your duties will include managing confidential files, preparing reports and correspondence, updating databases, processing payments, and supporting multi-agency meetings. You will also contribute to marketing efforts and website updates, and play a key role in maintaining business continuity across the wider team.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications
Alternatively, at least three years’ relevant administrative experience for candidates without the above qualificationsProven experience using computerised information management systemsAbility to work effectively as part of a team delivering frontline customer serviceStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of work and prioritise competing demandsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookWhat you’ll get in return
