Hays are partnering with a leading provider of global corporate services, headquartered in Newry with offices in Dublin and Belfast. You will be joining a next-generation advisory firm offering high-value corporate management, compliance, and financial administration services. With a strong presence across Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands they now require an Accountant to join the team.
Your new role
As an Internal Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of internal financial reporting. You will work closely with the finance team and senior management to maintain robust financial controls and contribute to strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing internal audits and compliance checks
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Assisting with tax planning and regulatory reporting
- Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders
- Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential. Experience with cross-border financial operations or corporate services is highly desirable.
Essential skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
