Job Title: Stores & Materials Co-Ordinator (Job Spec)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores & Materials Co-Ordinator to join our busy engineering team in Limavady. This hands-on role is key to managing stock levels, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring the efficient organisation of our yard and workshop. You’ll support both workshop and site-based activities, helping ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and book in deliveries; update internal stock systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure parts are correctly stored and labelled.
• Coordinate stock for projects and notify relevant teams of goods in.
• Prepare items for dispatch and manage courier bookings.
• Organise and maintain the workshop and yard to high standards.
• Load and unload goods using a forklift.
• Liaise with suppliers and arrange collections/deliveries.
• Support the implementation of Kanban and lean inventory practices.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar stores/materials coordination role.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
• Proficiency with stock control systems and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Familiarity with engineering/construction materials (desirable).
