️‍♂️ Recreation Assistant

£13.26 per hour
Lough moss – Leisure Centre
37 hours per week

Key Purpose

Deliver top-quality customer service while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness , safety ⚠️, and facility presentation ️ across our Activity Centres. Help create a welcoming, fun, and secure environment for all users, especially children and vulnerable adults.

Main Responsibilities

• ️‍♀️ Set up, dismantle, and safely handle activity equipment

• ⚠️ Follow health & safety regulations and Council procedures

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility

• Ensure compliance with child protection & safeguarding guidelines

• Supervise customers and provide excellent face-to-face, phone, and email service

• Assist at reception, operate cash/booking systems, and reconcile income

• Maintain logs and safety checklists

• Help induct new team members or students on placement

Essential Requirements

• ✅ Minimum 1 year’s experience in a customer-facing role

• A relevant coaching qualification OR 3 years’ customer service experience

• Basic knowledge of Child Protection & Vulnerable Adult policies
