Purpose
- To provide the best level of service to Russell’s Food and Drink retails shops by delivering in house chilled stock across 24 stores
- To assist the Manager in all aspects of the business including picking, driving, sales, security and stock control
- This is a full time role, 40 hours over 4 days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Responsibilities/Key Tasks
- To assist in picking chilled produict ready for delivery.
- To delivery product from Head Office to Shops sticking to already outlines delivery routes
- To comply with all health and safety information and to ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation.
- Any other duties relevant and related to the post
Educational qualifications
Desirable
- Maths and English GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Applicants must be 21 years old and over.
- Clean Driving Licence
- Ability to work on your own
- Personal drive and a pleasant, positive and enthusiastic, can do attitude, demonstrating an appropriate level of motivation
- Good standard of dress and appearance – clean and well groomed
- A good team player with the ability to work in a team environment
Desirable
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Previous experience of driving
- Previous experience of stock handling and control
