The Role
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with around 12 years of relevant experience. The role is varied and dynamic, providing exposure to a wide array of technologies, projects, and client environments. The successful candidate will receive structured training and support to develop their skills and progress within the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Remote Support: Deliver phone and email-based technical support to existing clients, troubleshooting and resolving a variety of IT issues.

Hardware Preparation: Assemble and configure end-user devices and network hardware in preparation for deployment.

On-site Visits: Spend approximately 1015 hours per week at client premises, providing in-person support and assisting with installations. Travel throughout Northern Ireland is required.

Project Work: Participate in client onboarding, hardware refreshes, Microsoft 365 migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Desired Experience & Skills:

12 years of experience in a similar IT support role, ideally within a managed services or helpdesk environment.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and traditional Active Directory environments.

Basic scripting ability (e.g., PowerShell, batch files).

Experience using support ticketing platforms.

Basic networking knowledge (e.g., DHCP, VLANs, subnets, port forwarding).
Requirements:

A full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential due to the travel involved.
