Job Summary

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Transport Analyst for a leading multi-national

manufacturer of construction and mining equipment client based in Larne, Northern Ireland.

This is an initial 6 months contract position working on site.

The pay rate is £14.79ph PAYE or £20.07 Umbrella

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

  • Support the Trade Lane Manager to plan and execute transportation operations for finished products from production centres in EAME to Dealers in region and overseas.
  • Support and initiate continuous improvement ideas or larger transformational initiatives.
  • Review and identify areas for improvement through review of Velocity on our Transportation Lanes.
  • Review and identify areas for improvement through performance management of our carriers.
  • Support the operational performance metrics (velocity, cost, data quality) and work across teams to achieve the targets.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor degree or third level education in Supply chain, business administration (Master is a plus) or equivalant experience in Supply chain, business administration.
  • Prior experience in International transportation ie Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air. Approx 2 years relevant experience
  • Proficient in English, optional other languages
  • Strong Analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive, Outlook)
  • Good to Have (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Good to have: Good Working Knowledge of Visio, Power Bi, Power Automate, Salesforce
