Mechanical Technician
Location: Armagh
Salary: £34,000£42,000
Shifts: Rotating 3 days one week, 4 days the next, then 3 nights / 4 nights
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Were working with a well-established manufacturing site thats looking for a new Mechanical Technician to join the team. This is a hands-on position where youll be operating milling machinery, monitoring plant performance, and keeping things running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting up, operating and maintaining milling equipment
- Monitoring quality and adjusting the process to keep things consistent
- Using SCADA systems to monitor and control the operation (training provided)
- Recording production data and keeping accurate logs
- Working safely and keeping the area clean, tidy and efficient
- Sorting out minor mechanical issues and escalating where needed
What Youll Need:
- A bit of mechanical know-how you dont need to be an engineer, but some hands-on experience would be ideal
- Basic understanding of SCADA or control systems, training can be provided
- A willingness to learn
- A team player attitude
