About You:

Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, AAT, or equivalent)
-
Minimum 3 years experience in a finance or accounts support role

Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practice
-
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy

Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
About Your New Role:
Always:
-
Managing a portfolio of SME clients, with a focus on accounts preparation, compliance and client management
-
External audit
-
Reviewing and finalising financial statements, tax computations, and management accounts
-
Acting as a key contact for clients, offering clear, practical advice
-
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Often:
-
Advising clients on process improvements, software, and commercial matters
-
Reviewing VAT and personal/corporate tax filings
-
Getting involved in business development conversations and internal planning meetings
Occasionally:
- Assisting with project work such as due diligence or cashflow forecasting
- Taking part in team training to further build your skills
Never:
- Working long hours for no reason
- Fighting over who last cleaned the kitchen
