HR Business Partner – Belfast – Open to part-time
MCS Group is delighted to exclusively partner with an award-winning organisation as they look to add an HR Business Partner to their team on a fixed-term contract basis for 9 – 12 months.
The role:
In this generalist role, you’ll work closely with managers and the wider HR team to provide expert support across a range of people matters – from employee relations and absence management to recruitment, policy development, and learning & development.
The main responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support on complex disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Lead long-term sick processes and support successful return-to-work outcomes.
- Partner with managers to deliver a professional, end-to-end recruitment process.
- Design and deliver engaging training for managers on core HR topics.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy and understanding of manipulating and presenting large amounts of data to report on key HR metrics.

The successful candidate:
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
- Similar experience within a generalist HR role
- Strong ER casework experience
- Up-to-date knowledge and hands on experience of NI employment law
- Experience with HR systems
