This is a unique opportunity for a Business Analyst Practice Lead to shape and mature the BA function within a growing Belfast-based team that supports international operations. You’ll play a central role in defining and promoting best-in-class analysis practices, mentoring a talented team of BAs, and driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, and standards.
The Role
- As BA Practice Lead, you’ll focus on practice leadership, not just delivery. You’ll work across the BA function to:
- Define and govern BA standards, methodologies, templates, and workflows
- Promote consistency and traceability in requirements gathering
- Conduct quality reviews and ensure alignment with global best practices
- Mentor and develop BAs, run workshops, and guide training initiatives
- Lead process improvement and support value-driven analysis practices
- Promote effective use of tools like Jira and Confluence
- Stay current with BA trends and contribute to thought leadership
- Provide supervisory oversight for assigned BAs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 5+ years’ experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts
- Strong background in structured analysis, business process modelling, and stakeholder collaboration
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Experience working in or with a BA Centre of Excellence or standards-focused environment
